Sprint

Dev process terms | Noun

a team sport where Agile teams compete in moving little card-shaped objects on a board within a designated time frame. Sprints are the primary way of organizing work within development teams. Each sprint represents a time-boxed period within which the team works on the sprint tasks. These tasks can be iterations on previous work and are decided on during sprint planning. Sprints make projects more manageable by breaking down complex tasks into bite-sized pieces. They also allow for iterations and gradually adding more and more complex features.

“I heard you`re into long-distance running. I didn't know you run.” “Oh, it's not that. It just means I hate sprints.”
